| Anyone tell you being a first year is hard? They were lying. It's not just hard. Its tough...like lose 15 lbs in two months tough. Like school is always on your mind tough. Like if you are doing something that's not work you feel guilty tough. However, it has it's great upside! It's great to see the children light up when they "get" something. Or when they come and give you hugs. Its going to be a long year, and I feel as though I'm so far behind, but hopefully, through my weakness, God's strength is made known. I have a lot thank God for though: my students - who are great, my co-workers who are so encouraging, my family - who is so supportive, my fellowship, my friends...etc. =)
We need to count our blessings and appreciate the little gifts that God gives us everyday. |

| I got hired by the school I student taught at - North Shoreview Montessori, which is located in San Mateo. I will be teaching first grade! I'm nervous, and I've got a lot to do before school begins. So please keep me in your prayers. Thanks!
